PhD contract in Computational Structural Biology – IQAC

The Institute for Advanced Chemistry of Catalonia (IQAC-CSIC) is looking for a PhD student to work on the project DEEPPEST, whose goal is to provide and validate an innovative time and cost-effective approach to improve Integrated Pest Management strategies with environmentally sustainable measures.

The PhD candidate will apply deep learning methods to elucidate odorant receptor structures, generate candidate binding molecules and score their binding affinity with computational tools.

The selected person must hold a degree in Physics or Chemistry and a MSc covering molecular modelling and simulation techniques.
