The Energy Storage, Harvesting and Catalysis Group announces a new first-stage researcher position to work on material and electrode characterisation. The candidate will support researchers of the battery group in basic structure, physicochemical and electrochemical characterisation of the materials and components used in rechargeable batteries. The selected candidate will focus on the following techniques and processes:- X-ray (or neutron) diffraction characterisation, including crystal structure Rietveld refinement.
- Diffraction data simulation using the GSAS 2 software package.
- Electrode fabrication and testing using coin cells.
