The Atmospheric Composition group from the Earth Science department at the BSC-CNS offers an intership position for one junior research support engineer willing to work on the development of atmospheric emission inventories. The position will support the development of the input databases and emission estimation methodologies, as well as the analysis of the emission outputs. The successful applicant will work closely with providers of emission and activity data to build and produce emission databases suitable for studies of air pollution.Key Duties
- Collection and processing of activity and emission data for use in model development.
- Development and assessment of emission estimation methodologies.
- Computing emissions, post-processing and analysis of the results.
