WIA-E Rome webinar “Space for Women: Exoplanets and Evolved Stars at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center” – Women in Aerospace Europe
The invited speaker for this event is Gioia Rau, Research Scientist at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.
Gioia is an astrophysicist at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, where she works on exoplanets and stellar astrophysics using artificial intelligence techniques, the most advanced computational models, and data from the largest telescopes on Earth and in space. During this Seminar, she will present us more her experience and research, and at the end of the event there will be a live Q&A session to allow everyone to directly interact with her!
The moderator of the event is Alice Pellegrino, System Engineer and Subcontractors’ Technical Manager at QinetiQ Space nv and part of the WIA-E Rome Committee.
