February 11th is the “International Day of Women and Girls in Science”, recognizing the role of women and girls in science as agents of change. WIA-E Rome Local Group is glad to celebrate by inviting you to our webinar series with our guest Annamaria Nassisi.
Annamaria is the Manager of the Space Economy for Earth Observation and Navigation at Thales Alenia Space, with a degree in Physics and Geophysics, and over the years has held many roles in systems engineering, marketing and management. Annamaria is passionate about women’s rights, and has served on the Board of the WIA-E, first as Communications Director and then as Board Chair. She actively participates in the local group of Rome. Since October 2021 she has held the role of President of the Rome Branch of FIDAPA – BPW Italy, where she was awarded the “Leader” Award in 2018.
She will share her professional experience and career path at Thales Alenia Space, as well as her involvement in different volunteering organizations where she strongly supports gender diversity actions. In the last part of the webinar, there will be a Q&A session to allow everyone to directly interact with Annamaria!
