Pitching to US VCs, with Mar Hershenson & Pepe Agell

This month they are celebrating Startup Grind Barcelona Chapter's 7th anniversary. Join them for this special event, in which they will host Mar Hershenson (Founding Managing Partner @ Pear VC) and Pepe Agell (ex- Chartboost) to talk about everything startups need to know when pitching to US VCs. Mar and Pepe are devoted to building bridges between Silicon Valley and Spain so as more startups have access to the US capital.

This event will be online and in English.

Speakers

Mar Hershenson. Pear VC

Mar is a co-founder and Managing Partner at Pear VC, a seed-stage investment firm in Palo Alto backing companies like Dropbox, Guardant Health, Doordash, Gusto, and Branch. She holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and she has co-founded three startups: Barcelona Design, Sabio Labs, and Revel Touch. She has received many awards throughout her career.

Pepe Agell. Chartboost

Pepe was Co-CEO of Chartboost, leading the strategic planning, marketing and corporate development efforts. In this role, he oversaw the company’s strategic partnerships, key future product developments, M&A activities, external communications and thought leadership. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the UPC Barcelona and the ETH Zurich. Prior to joining Chartboost, Pepe led product management and operations teams in both multinational (Hilti AG) and startups (3scale and Innovalley).
