Postdoctoral Researcher- NanoBiosensors and Bioanalytical Applications Group per al ICN2 - Institut Català de Nanociència i Nanotecnologia

The candidate will be involved in all the steps in the development of a multiplexed optical label-free biosensor for its implementation in clinical diagnostics. The main experimental tasks include: the fabrication and characterization of metallic nanostructures; design and implementation of optical setup with the development of compatible microfluidics for integration; optical evaluation of the plasmonic prototype for biosensing measurements; full integration with electronics and software. The candidate will work under supervision and have the opportunity of independently developing the research. Related tasks will also include: data analysis and processing; preparation of regular reports and presentations; and writing scientific publications.
