Undergraduate Student - Quantum computation (R0) per al Barcelona Supercomputing Center

The Quantic group is a BSC initiative to study Quantum computation. This novel paradigm of computation has the potential to exploit Quantum mechanics to perform high-performance computations of Quantum systems and optimization problems.

The final goal of this project is the application of this new computing power to real-world problems. Our approach involves the development of novel HPC tools to simulate and study large scale Quantum circuits.

Key Duties

• Use of parallel tools to simulate Quantum circuits
• Developing hybrid solutions to solve scientific problems using Quantum and classical resources.
• Study computational advantages of a Quantum approach.
