The candidate will join the Electronics Section, which is currently staffed by 18 members. The section designs and provides operational support to the control and data acquisition systems hardware, both for the particle accelerator and the experimental laboratories (beamlines). In addition, it is responsible for the power supplies of both the accelerators and the beamlines. Finally, it provides electronic design support to various sub-groups within the organization.We are looking for an Electronics Engineer eager to take on new challenges while contributing to:
• Electronics instrumentation installation, commissioning and support to the operation of an X-ray tomography beamline.
• Upgrades and support to either other operative or new beamlines.
• Upgrades and support to the operation of the accelerator control hardware.
• New instrumentation developments.
