Schneider Electric Hackathon

The Schneider Electric Hackathon is the first coding competition organized by Schneider Electric and powered by Nuwe. The main objective of this hackathon is for the participants to show their skills, win prizes and have a chance of getting hired in Schneider Electric, a multinational company that offers digital solutions in the energy and automatization fields in order to achieve efficiency and sustainability.

This hackathon will prioritize the Spanish speaking community because the potential job positions are meant to provide support to the Spanish part of Schneider Electric (distributed between Barcelona and Sevilla).

Categories

The two categories available for the participantes to compete are Data Science and Cybersecurity, two of the most top trending IT fields. You do not need to worry a lot about the difficulty level of the challenges, as they have been designed for a trainee / junior developer profile.


Teams

You only have to do one of the challenges, which can be done individually or with a maximum of another two team members (3 members per team).

Traineeship at the EU Council

Twice a year the General Secretariat of the Council offers 5-month paid traineeship periods in Brussels: 16 February to 15 July (first period) 1 September to 31 January (second period) Regular paid traineeships Eligibility Applicants must be EU citizens; Have a university degree; Proficiency in English or French (C1 level) and very good knowledge of two EU official languages; Completing the first cycle of higher education is necessary.
