POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW IN HARMONIC ANALYSIS AND APPROXIMATION per al CRM

The Approximation Theory and Harmonic Analysis group at the CRM is offering a two-year Postdoctoral position in Fourier Analysis and Approximation under the supervision of Prof. Sergey Tikhonov. This position is funded by project PID2023-150984NB-I00.

The successful candidate may start anytime between March 1, 2025, and August 31, 2025, preferably by April 30, 2025. The position is open to recent PhD graduates and candidates with prior postdoctoral experience. A strong background in Fourier analysis and approximation theory is required. 

LINES OF INVESTIGATION

The main topics include Fourier analysis and Approximation theory, with the special attention on:

•  Uncertainty principle relations
• Fourier inequalities
• Extremal problems
• Signal reconstruction
