Cool Earth - The Liveability Challenge 2025

Global temperatures are hitting record highs, with 2024 marking unprecedented heat and escalating climate threats. Urgent action is needed to meet the Paris Agreement goals: cutting emissions by 43% by 2030 and achieving net zero by 2050. The rising economic costs of inaction demand regulatory support, strategic investments, and innovative technologies. The Liveability Challenge 2025 returns to drive transformative climate solutions worldwide. 

Challenge Statement: Cool Earth

Seeking for innovations that specifically address the challenges posed by climate-induced extreme weather conditions. The challenge statement is hunting for innovative solutions that enhance mitigation, resilience and adaptation to extreme weather events (especially heat) for more liveable planet. It is also open to proposals that provide large-scale cooling benefits and adaptive solutions that strengthen resilience across diverse industries. The solutions include but not limited to heat mitigation and nature- based solutions.

The top solution will win S$1 Million in grant funding.
