Our group at the Life Sciences Department is developing a research line centred on the deep characterization of dynamics properties in macromolecules. Dynamic features of proteins are neglected in most functional studies, mainly due to the difficulties and cost of their obtention. We plan an ambitious project on the application of network biology and artificial intelligence strategies to the analysis of biomolecular dynamics. We seek a young bioinformatician with skills in understanding protein structure and dynamics to develop and test a series of proof-of-concept experiments in this context.Key Duties
- Develop and adapt methodologies for conformational analysis both from static structures and from large-scale simulations trajectories
- Develop AI based methods for the analysis of protein simulation trajectories
