PJ Monitoring is a member of the Austrian ERCIcluster ACstyria and will present the Waggon Tracker – a platform that perfectly combines monitoring and automation and designed a robust overall system that is very efficient. It provides automated processes plus crucial information about the vehicle fleet in real-time.

The Berlin based SME Knick Elektronische Messgeräte will present an innovative product for functionallysafe duplication of signals. The ProLine P16800 Speed Sensor SignalDoubler, Isolator, Converter listens to signals from speed sensors (pulse generators, encoders, etc.) without affecting these signals (no interaction between systems on a SIL 4 functional safety level) and copies these signals without modification (signal transmission on a SIL 2 functional safety level).

Both companies are finalists of the ERCI Innovation Awards in 2021 and PJMonitoring is the winner in the “Best SME” category.

Traineeship at the EU Council

Twice a year the General Secretariat of the Council offers 5-month paid traineeship periods in Brussels: 16 February to 15 July (first period) 1 September to 31 January (second period) Regular paid traineeships Eligibility Applicants must be EU citizens; Have a university degree; Proficiency in English or French (C1 level) and very good knowledge of two EU official languages; Completing the first cycle of higher education is necessary. No previous training (paid or unpaid) or employment for more than six weeks at an EU institution, body, agency or office. Benefits A monthly grant of €1,376.88 net.
