The Global Entrepreneurship Summer School

The Global Entrepreneurship Summer School (GESS) is a seven-day program where 140 university students come together in Munich, Querétaro (Mex.), Shanghai and Cape Town to develop entrepreneurial solutions that meet the world’s biggest challenges. In the spirit of promoting “Billion Euro Projects to take Climate Action”, we work on the UN Sustainable Development Goals aiming to empower students to become young responsible leaders who create positive change in our society.

At GESS, you will work in international and interdisciplinary teams on region-specific problems to develop your own idea that presents both a sustainable impact on society and a self-sustaining, profitable business model. Throughout GESS, your team will be partnered with a coach who will provide you with feedback and assistance on any technical questions, like how to test your idea with the community on-site. A series of interactive input sessions by renowned entrepreneurs will provide you with the complementary knowledge.

At the end of the course, you and your team will pitch your idea to a wide public audience – and you should definitely not miss the celebration afterwards!
