Forestry Speed Dating: 4th Series

In recent years, Europe has experienced a record number of Extreme Wildfire Events (EWE), leading to the burning of over half a million hectares in the EU alone in 2023 and 20 megatons of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. To respond to global rising temperatures and intensified droughts, we need preventive actions and sustainable forest management.

That’s where innovation comes in for effective management and mitigation. The Bioregions Facility and FIRE-RES are bringing together a community of practice in wildfire risk mitigation and integrated wildfire management from FIRE-RES, Firelogue projects, and other key solution providers to participate in the Forestry Speed Dating fourth series webinar on Extreme Wildfire Events.

Forestry Speed Dating is a dynamic webinar series that promotes innovative solutions, fosters innovation, and catalyses collaboration in the forest bioeconomy. Join us for the webinars as pitchers present their solutions to a broad international audience of like-minded innovators, relevant stakeholders and possible end-users.
