The Electrical Engineering Department (Power systems and Energy System Analytics groups) announces a position as Head and responsible for the IREC Smart Grid laboratory (IREC Energy SmartLab). The candidate will be leading the Laboratory team and will be responsible of the management of any process related to the laboratory and its operation as acquisition and installation of equipment, reparations, test preparations and coordination, among other activities directly related to the lab needs.These activities require knowledge in management, health and safety, electrical installations, automation equipment, communications and control systems. In addition, motivation and high interests on smart grids, renewables, energy storage, electric mobility and grid integration. The professional is expected to actively participate in current and new research projects (competitive and industrial) within the group.
