The person appointed will be involved in different EU and applied research projects, with the aim of creating large-scale Machine Learning datasets and Machine Learning models for different applications in Earth Sciences.
This position, therefore, presents the opportunity to work alongside a wide range of leading international Machine Learning experts and climate scientists delivering cutting-edge climate science across Europe. Key Duties
Contribute in the creation of large-scale Machine Learning datasets for Earth Sciences applications
Develop Machine Learning models applied to the context of climate prediction
Interact with scientists in the group and in the department and possibly conduct a broader user study in order to improve usability of the dataset created
Participate in scientific publications
