Applications are invited for a research engineer position in High Performance Computing (HPC) architectures at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC-CNS). We are offering a position in the context of the European projects EPI SGA2 and Lenovo. The engineer will have to evaluate the performance of the Arm- and RISCV-based designs developed in these projects. In particular, we will make use of different bioinformatics libraries in these evaluations.Key Duties
Define a low-power System-on-Chip architecture targeting Exascale.
Deliver initial proof-of-concept demonstration of its critical components on real life applications.
Explore accelerators for sparse applications
