The Energy Storage group at the Advanced Materials for Energy Area of IREC, lead by Prof. J.R. Morante, announces a Post-doctoral Research Position available for a highly motivated candidate to work in the EU-FP7 project INFLUENCE (Interfaces of Fluid Electrodes: New Conceptual Explorations, FP7-ENERGY-2013-1) as well as other projects in this field of activities.
INFLUENCE is an ENERGY-FP7 European project devoted to a sustainable approach for the understanding, control and optimization of interfaces of a battery type based on Li-ion and Na-ion active materials. In particular, the project will investigate semi-solid Li-ion and Na-ion flow batteries with special emphasis into synthesis and characterization of components (i.e. fluid electrodes), prototyping and testing tools.
Candidate must have a Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Physics, Material Science or equivalent and have completed a doctorate in a related field: batteries or electrochemistry. CV must additionally reflect candidate’s experience on the electrochemical characterization or design and synthesis of the electrodes and/or electrolytes and morphological characterization by SEM, TEM or AFM techniques.
Interested candidates should send a detailed CV and motivation letter to Dr. Cristina Flox ( firstname.lastname@example.org)
- CV, personal references and a motivation letter have to be sent to Dr. Cristina Flox ( email@example.com).
- Deadline for applications: 25th August 2013 - Incorporation: 15st Sep 2013
