Airbus Defence and Space in Bremen is responsible for the European contribution of the International Space Station (ISS), Service module of ORION (MPCV), ARIANE 5 Upper Stage (U/S) and various other payloads and equipment’s.

We are looking for a Safety Engineer who would like to support us in this exciting field of aeronautic engineering with the following characteristics.

Mandatory is that the candidates have knowledge in Safety analysis.

An additional Engineering (e.g. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) is desirable but not a must.

Safety Engineer:

  • Team player
  • Open minded
  • Extroverted, “self-starters”
  • English is mandatory.
  • German desirable
  • ECSS is desirable
  • MIL-STD-882 is desirable
  • CIE-EN-5012x is desirable
  • RAMS analysis to support reliability, maintenance and logistic targets of projects
  • Specify safety critical systems and reliability requirements
  • Ensure that the identified safety critical systems and reliability requirements are correctly defined, implemented, verified
  • Supplier monitoring / review
Analyse technique (qualitative and quantitative)
  • RAMS Plan
  • Functional Analysis
  • Process & Design FMEA
  • Probability Risk Assessment (Fault Tree)
  • Safety Hazard Analyse
  • Reliability Assessment (RBD)
