Beamline Scientist Responsible at angular-resolved photoemission per a CELLS

ALBA is the Spanish 3-GeV synchrotron radiation facility operated by the Consortium CELLS, which is equally funded by the Spanish Government (Ministerio de Economía y Competividad) and the Catalan Government (Generalitat de Catalunya, Departament d'Economia i Coneixement). 

As part of the phase II beamlines, LOREA will be an angular-resolved photoemission (ARPES) beamline. It will be built according to the suscessful proposal of the user community.


The successful candidate will:

  • Be in charge of the design, construction and commissioning of the LOREA beamline, with the help of the appropriate ALBA personnel.
  • After the successful commissioninggg of the beamline, and with the help of the beamline team, to provide user support, to carry out in-house research, to maintain and to upgrade the beamline.
  • Develop a scientific program in angular-resolved photoemission.
