JOB OPPORTUNITIES ON SiC POWER DEVICES AT CNM-BARCELONA

The CNM (National Microelectronics Centre) is a national research and development Spanish institute belonging to the Spanish Science Research Council (CSIC). The CNM activities are channeled toward strengthening microelectronics capabilities in Spain by means of scientific and technological research on the design and fabrication of MEMS, ICs, Power Devices, Nanotechnologies and related materials using its 1,500 m2 Clean Room Facility.

The Power Devices and Systems Department of the CNM is offering two job opportunities: a PhD and a Post-doc positions, in the framework of a European Commission (EC) funded project.

The duration of the appointment is 3 years. The selected applicants will be enrolled in the program of the Power Devices Group.
 

RESEARCH TOPIC:

The PhD student and the Post-doc will conduct research on SiC process technology, in close collaboration with the industrial partners of the project.

In particular, the specific objectives include:
Modeling and design of novel device concepts for very high-voltage power switches, and their electrical characterization.

 
ELIGIBILY:

The recruited researcher should be able to get a residence permit in Spain
The student’s academic record should fulfill a minimum requirement in terms of average normalized scores, computed according to the rules established by UE
